October marks European Black History Month, also known as Black Achievement Month. This month is used as a chance to highlight Black culture. To do our part and spark conversation, Freedom Collective has decided to collaborate again with Hubert. On Thursday 19 October, Freedom Collective organises a screening of the movie Queen & Slim (2019) and discuss this movie and other relevant topics with a roundtable. Enjoy a movie with fellow people of colour and brighten your intellectual mind through discussion. The Film & Talk will take place at the cozy and intimate cafe of Hubert in Nijmegen, from 7.30 PM till 10.30 PM. A ticket for this event will cost 10 euros.
